Gorilla warfare

Lone vigilantes stalked our dreams over the last seven days. Terrorism and revolution have been trending upwards for a couple of months, but this week hit an all-time peak.

Some of our revolutions were friendly. A lottery winner sparks an unhappy workforce to down tools and take a day off. Another dreamer visits the optimism and innovation of the British Industrial Revolution.

Elsewhere, nights delivered darker messages. Flashbacks to New York 9/11. Nation-wide insurrections. More than one dreamer woke in sweat after witnessing mass shootings.

In bizarre juxtaposition to these nightmares, primate dreams were also frequent this week. Apes, gorillas, and monkeys. In pink and gold. Perched on bedside tables and smashing down front doors.

Perhaps tempted by the strawberry full moon, or passing by to lighten the mood. Our close evolutionary cousins swung by to say hello.

I went to a coffee shop where the manager was UK PM Rishi Sunak, and the staff weren’t very happy working there. So I paid a chunk of money to get him to let a couple of the staff leave for the day.

We all went back to my house where I currently live with my family. I noticed a black animal running across the garden, I thought it was a baby gorilla but then thought that would be crazy.
