All the snakes

This week we were cheated on by our romantic partners.

Ex boyfriends, girlfriends, and spouses reappeared in various guises. Sometimes the reunions were welcome and romantic. But mostly they were not.

They came back to borrow money, humiliate us at parties, and fire guns.

Snakes slithered through our sleep. Anacondas, cobras and rattlesnakes attacked in nightmarish scenes.

Bucking this trend, one lucky dreamer met a magical black snake. The snake wrapped around his arm and murmured love into his ear.

I had a dream the other day about my ex. She was acting obsessed with me, kept touching me and stuff. As I was walking to get away from her, I saw three venomous snakes camouflaged with the ground. There was a rattlesnake, a copperhead, and another one, maybe a cottonmouth. When I rejected her, she asked, "When did you get so ugly?" And to that, I replied sarcastically, I guess, "I have always been ugly."
