Counting on change

This week, numbers kept popping up in the most unexpected places, weaving their way into our dreams with curious and sometimes unsettling results. We encountered clocks that wouldn’t stop ticking, numbers on pages that wouldn’t add up, and sudden shifts in time that left us questioning whether we were living in the present, past, or somewhere in between.

Some dreamers found themselves lost in the middle of a crowd, trying to count the number of people around them but unable to keep track. Others were trapped in labyrinths of equations—staring at numbers that seemed to move and change every time they blinked.

In a week where time and calculation seemed to govern everything, the dreams were less about arriving at an answer and more about getting caught in the process of searching.

I was in a huge library, surrounded by bookshelves that stretched endlessly. Each shelf had a number, but the numbers kept shifting—one minute, 2, then 5, then 100. I tried to follow the patterns, but every time I picked a book, the number on the spine would change, and I’d have to start over again.
