This week, our dreams were filled with scenes of escape, confusion, and the struggle to find safety or clarity. Whether it was the fear of being trapped, the uncertainty of our surroundings, or the inability to navigate social or personal expectations, we found ourselves running, hiding, and seeking refuge in the most unexpected places.

Some of us were fleeing dangerous situations—a man in a small, uncomfortable apartment, or a bustling parking lot that turned into a desert highway. The search for safety was often complicated by the feeling of being pursued, or the overwhelming sense that things weren’t quite right, no matter where we went.

In contrast, some dreams focused on moments of disconnection and confusion. A dinner party with strangers at one end of the table left a dreamer without a seat, while a family outing turned into a maze of missed turns and unspoken tensions.

The line between feeling at home and feeling lost seemed blurred in our dreams this week, with no easy answers or safe spaces to be found.

I was in a hotel room with Kyle—nothing fancy, just a last-minute stop after too much to drink. But when we walked in, the room was crawling with rats, spiders, and ants. Kyle didn’t mind the ants in the bed, but I felt trapped in a nightmare. Even after we packed our bags to leave, rats were inside our suitcases, and I couldn't shake the feeling of wanting to discard everything that had been in that awful room.
