Psychedelic Easter

Worlds, traditions, and religions collide at the blurry boundary between life and death this Easter week.

Mother nature’s spring transformations sprout. More dreamers than we have seen all year find themselves bearing children. Deer, elk, and crows frolic through our nights.

Ojo de Venado amulets protect us from evil. Luckily. As death’s shadow is not far away. Pregnancies end in tragedy. Does smashed against colliding cars.

Christian echoes of the crucifixion clatter around our nightmares. Characters hanging uncomfortably from crosses. Jesus crying. The words “Job 14 6” burn in the sky. The Bible verse warning of the brevity of life.

Even Azrael, an angel of death, makes an appearance.

To neatly underline the cycle of beginnings and endings, more than one dreamer met Persephone and Hades.

The cosmic order was wrapped up in a kaleidoscope of fuchsia.

Women dressed head to toe in lavender. Highway walks engulfed by pink fog. Farmers spitting globs of shimmering amethyst hue paint. Even the slender man steps out in snazzy new purple shirts.

For some reason I had snake eggs. Not like I saw the eggs in my hands or anything like that, I actually had them inside of me. Instead of having normal female eggs I had snake eggs.
